Encouraging commitment and promoting encounters
Being in solidarity with people in Eastern Europe is important for Renovabis. Renovabis encourages this through public relations, education and lobbying. The collection on Pentecost Sunday is intended for the work of Renovabis. Our annual campaign starts about three weeks before Pentecost focusing on a different subject every year. We publish a magazin that provides background information and reports on the situation in the countries of central, eastern and southeastern Europe.
Further fields of Renovabis' work
- Renovabis supports youth meetings and projects for understanding, dialogue and reconciliation between West and East in Europe.
- We provide material for (Religious) teachers will find building blocks for religion and social studies and other offers to do activities with young people in a team and to exchange ideas about God and the world.
- Our Geocaching-Adventure on the topic 'Pentecost and holy spirit' is a good start into the preparation for confirmation.
- If you like to be creative with young people, you can create your own pentecost flag, which can then be hoisted in front of your church for Pentecost.
